Congratulations again to Jessica Atwell from Tristram European who liked AutoPlay on Facebook and won a brand new iPad Mini. We visited Jessica to deliver the prize and she gave us some great feedback about the Sales Pipeline and how it benefits her day to day worklife. Jessica uses the Desktop version of the Sales Pipeline to load new leads on behalf of the sales team and management when required. Given her frontline use of AutoPlay we asked for her thoughts on the Sales Pipeline. “AutoPlay has become a key tool at Tristram European. From first point of contact with a customer through to after sales follow ups AutoPlay works well with both our sales teams and customers. We love hearing positive feedback on our product so we’d love it if you shared it with matt@autoplay.co.nz

Did you know that you can load a lead with just a few taps? The Business Card Scanner built into the New Lead screen allows users to scan a business card and populate Name, Phone, Mobile, Email and Address Details without having to type a thing. Not only will this ensure all information is captured, but also that captured information is more accurate – with less typos. To use the Business Card Scanner we’ll need to set up access for you. If you are interested please email support@autoplay.co.nz with your request. Once we set up access you will see a small camera icon in the top right hand corner when loading a new lead. Simply tap this icon and position the customers’ business card within the green square and hit the photo button.
The Business Card Scanner will then process the visible information and display a pop up of matching results. If the results are not accurate then you can scan the business card again. Depending on light and how shiny a business card is the scanner is normally very accurate, however you can always edit information once scanned if it is not 100% accurate. Contact AutoPlay on support@autoplay.co.nz for more information. Never double load a customer or lead record again. AutoPlay have partnered with selected DMS providers including AutoLine, AutoIT/UNITS, Comsol, Orion and Magix (Coming Soon) to ensure that when you load a lead into the Sales Pipeline, both the customer and lead are automatically sent to your DMS – so they are ready and waiting when you need to complete a purchase. DMS Integration costs an additional $100 +GST per month, per dealership with AutoPlay and charges at the DMS end range from $49 to $99 per month (there may be additional charges so you’ll need to talk to your DMS provider). Its well worth the cost as DMS Integration can save your sales team huge amounts of time and hassle spent loading in customer records and leads to the DMS. The Sales Pipeline has been known to capture up to 9 time more customer contacts than when using a DMS alone. The secret? Most dealers make using the Test Drive Forms compulsory and the information captured filters through automatically to the DMS. Conversely when faced with typing out info collected on a paper test drive form the easiest choice is often to file it in the ol’ cardboard box to load in at a future date. We keep DMS Integration as simple as we can. We set up a 2 way feed of customer information – not only sending this info to the DMS, but also receiving the dealerships full database to further minimise typing and reduce duplicate customer records. With the Sales Pipeline just type in the customer’s first name and you’ll see all the customers that matched against this name, as well as how many open leads they have (in the little red circle). The more contact information you enter when loading a new lead, the more accurate the ‘Existing Customer’ results will be.
At AutoPlay we are all about making it as easy as possible to manage leads and transfer data. If DMS Integration sounds like a bit of you please email support@autoplay.co.nz to find out more information about how it works with your DMS provider. Did you know that websites that are not responsive generate almost 40% less traffic than responsive mobile friendly websites?* If your website is looking a bit out of date and you want to upgrade contact support@autoplay.co.nz. For loyal AutoPlay customers we are offering a limited time only offer of a new, fully responsive website starting at $5,000 + GST (plus $8-$12 US per month). To take advantage of this offer all you need is either the Data & Web Tool Package or the Full Pro Package. Just flick us an email and we’ll upgrade your tired old, flat website to a fully responsive site that works and displays well on mobile, tablet and desktop displays. AutoPlay websites are built using the Weebly platform, which allows us to build sites quickly and keep the cost down.
Why do I need a responsive website? Since April 2015, Google rank responsive websites higher in search rankings. This results in these sites doubling their traffic and decreasing time to convert leads by 40%. MORE Over 80% of people surveyed use their smartphones to search online - with a further 47% using a tablet** Despite this 46% find navigating difficult on mobiles*** Responsive sites are easier to search, navigate & find content - users stay on responsive sites up to 5x longer than stripped back mobile sites (i.e m.dealership.co.nz)**** View some examples of our work *Based on monthly Sessions, Visitors and Page Views for a Hamilton based dealership after upgrading to a responsive AutoPlay website, 2015 **Mobile Marketing Statistics - Smart Insights, 2016 ***BOP Design, 2015 ****Web Performance Today, 2015
The Morning Meeting Report will shortly be updated to include a ‘Completed’ field. Previously the report showed only Calendar Events yet to be completed. Soon the report will enable user to go back and see what each sales person actually completed – instead of only what they had booked. Completed Calendar Events will be marked with a tick in the ‘Completed Column’ of the report. Additionally the previously single day report has been opened up to enable users to choose multiple days. This will enable managers to access historical data about not only how many calendar events each Salesperson booked, but thanks to the new icons they can also gauge whether booked events are actually being completed.
The changes to the Morning Meeting Report will be released in late February. For more information email matt@autoplay.co.nz |
