Driven.co.nz has turned one year old and are now adding a new way to buy and sell cars to a site that has had meteoric rise to already be New Zealand’s #4 Automotive website.

The New & Used Listings will add to unbelievable content that has gripped the Automotive public.  Drivens new, custom built, stand-alone multiplatform site developed to assist car buyers and enthusiasts wherever they are… at home researching or out and about.

AutoPlay are happy to announce that all AutoPlay dealers are to receive a 3 month free trial - after which you will receive AutoPlay Preferential rates see below.

If you are not interested in listing your vehicles on Driven.co.nz please email support@autoplay.co.nz and we will organise for them to be removed asap.

Preferential pricing per month for AutoPlay Dealers.  Pricing is based on the number of listings at the following levels.
  • 0 - 50      = $125
  • 51 - 100  = $200
  • 101 - 150 = $275
  • 150+ =  $350

The 3 month trial ends on 31/07/16.  Prior to this date AutoPlay will send another communication asking dealers if they want to sign up to list on Driven.  You will not automatically be signed up once the free trial period ends.

Improvements to the new Desktop Studio

By now we’ve released the new Desktop Studio to the majority of our customer base and received some fantastic feedback so far.  Earlier this week we released a patch to include a number of new requests from dealers including displaying Interest Level, better matched search results and including the Custom date range option on the Dashboard search.

Custom Date Range

Custom Date Range now included on Dashboard date filter as an option in the NOW, FUTURE, STALLED, OVERDUE list.  The Custom Date Range allows users to select a specific range of due dates for leads – allowing either a specific individual day or a wider date range to be selected.

Clearer Display of Email Enquiry

​We’ve now made it easier to identify a customer’s original email enquiry on the Lead Detail screen within the Sales Pipeline.  Double clicking on this email record will display clearly what the customer’s original email looked like.  We are making further improvements to this screen in coming releases.

Better searching of Address Book when loading new leads

The criteria for matching customers is now much more accurate than it previously was.  We now strip out characters such as spaces, #, (, ) when searching the phone number to ensure you get a match no matter how you input a phone number.  Additionally we now sort the matched results alphabetically by last name to make it easier to match customers when many results are returned.

Interest Level now displays on Dashboard and Lead Detail

​You asked for it, so we have now ported across the INTEREST functionality that is found in the iPad Sales Pipeline.  There is a new INTEREST dropdown found in the top left of the lead detail screen. (fig 1)  This will then display a coloured icon next the Current Progress on the Dashboard.( fig 2)

CLOSE LEAD PERMISSION & CLOSE LEAD NOTIFICATIONS

Recently we have started to come accross more dealerships with Sales Managers who want more control over who has the ability to Close As Lost. Conversly we are seeing other managers who are happy for their sales team to close lost leads, but want to be notified when this happens. In the recent 16.1 iOS release we've added some new functionality to give these Sales Managers more control.
  • CLOSE LEADS PERMISSION - We now have a new setting in our Role Management to select who can 'Close As Lost' (Note we do not restrict the ability to 'Close As Won'). When the role is set up by AutoPlay the only users that will be able to close leads as lost will be the users we have added to the role - everyone else will see the 'Close As Lost' button but it will not be a clickable option for them. The default is that anyone can close leads - so if you are interested in using this feature you will need to contact support@autoplay.co.nz to have it turned on.​

  • CLOSE LEADS NOTIFICATION - For those who don't want to restrict the closing of leads but still want to monitor what leads are being closed we have introduce a new role to send a notification email whenever a user closes a lead as lost. As with Closed Leads Permission this role is off by default, so if you want to know everytime a lead is closed as lost you need to request setup via support@autoplay.co.nz
